This is a 30 min doodle I did in school today, trying to match the style and feel och the Shipmechanic and the Interstellar lighthouse. I'm thinking about drawing 1 or 2 more characters on the same theme before I do any more studies, just to let my brain rest for a while lol...
As the perspective was a bit dull on the first version, im trying out a more dramatic angle in 2.0. Not sure if I have time to finish this in time for the deadline, since I got 34 heads to draw tomorrow lol.
It's a wip lineart with some values, trying to get a good feel.
So I did an environment today instead of my heads, relaxing to paint again and do some colors. I'ts my submission for environment of the week at conceptart.org
Here comes #2-5. These crappy looking things are from imagination, trying different ways to structure the head in perspective. Even tough they look like crap the measurements should pretty correct. Tomorrow its bridgeman and drawing heads from life yeah.
Wohoo, now I'm not behind with my own project (read: Bust-A-Day)! So okay, here's a 30 min torso of some mutated human, with all that muscle and flesh pumping.
I find it awesome when the mind goes blank and the pencil lives its own life. And then you suddenly wake up from this state and find that the piece you just created became really awesome, or just crap. Either way, it's very relaxing.
